Alex Smith has worked all over the country as an Artist Blacksmith. He has a BA Hons in Artist Blacksmithing, which has helped him to apply new and exciting aesthetics to his designs.

His company, Chalk Pit Forge, is run within Amberley Museum in Amberley, West Sussex. He works to commission and his customer’s specifications. The bespoke service incudes architectural relief’s and friezes, balconies, balustrades, canopies, fire baskets & accessories, furniture, gates, gazebos, handrails, large keys, log burners, land art and earthworks, obelisks, pergolas, railings, restoration, screens and dividers, sculpture, seating, signs, staircases, sundials and weathervanes.
